Textured lines bend gracefully. A line is lost; a line is found. The ebb and flow of life culminates in the signature of a single fingertip. Time imprints itself on men’s divided hearts; their minds wandering in undiscovered fields.
The common object above gives abundant light in a corner of our dark living room. At first my mother didn’t care for it’s textured surface, but she did like the general design. We bought it. I stared at it’s surface for awhile. Then I began to see that the majority of the interest lay at the corners of the object and at certain extreme angles. The surface had both an architectural and natural quality to it. What does this piece remind you of?
