I took this picture some time ago, but I still enjoy the texture that the seeded glass provided. It (the glass) softened all the details of the neighbor’s front yard to the point of breaking them down to irregular bursts of vibrant color, only the vague outline of the larger shapes within the composition can be seen. As a painter, I am always fascinated with creating pictures that look like paintings. Sometimes I choose to use these pictures as studies for actual paintings, other times, I choose to simply enjoy the photograph as the final product of my artistic experimentation.

Yes, I have found this statement to be true. It takes a dash of talent and a great deal of study and discipline to become a good painter.
